Advertising Class Notes:

Great job on the Glass assignments!! I can wait to post all the work online this week. Please remember to 1/ prepare for class so you have all your props and LAY-OUT. 2/ to prepare the image you will present from your glass assignment, in the way described in the handout I gave you last week (not sure ask a Friend). Finally I do need your lighting diagram, some of the one that were handed to me were useless. It is part of your work!!
This week we are shooting "Reflective" objects. The lay out is below. Please take into consideration that final lay-out/image will be placed on a "Double page spread". If you don't know or understand what I am talking about please let me know.
Examples of Reflective objects: Jewelry, silverware etc.

Week 2: Glass Assignment.

Glass- Assignment:

For the glass assignment you will need to follow these requirements:
You will need to create 2 different photographs of the same glass object. : A ”Beauty Shot” and a “Product Shot”.
For the ”Beauty Shot” You will create an interesting image will make your product look great. The product shot will show the product as well as possible so the product read extremely (such as the bottle shot below)

The final Image will need to feet the layout included in this email:
Product shot will be ‘cut-out’ just like the bottle on the left of the example attached.
The other picture must fill the format of the add (11 wide by 8.5 high) and can be a more dramatic, visually interesting way of looking at the product.
Note: There is a white bar on the left with a low opacity. You will be given the tiff file for placement during class.
